FOOD TO HEALTH CONNECTION
HEALTH What is your perception of a healthy body or human? How can you fix what’s wrong if don’t know what’s right? Most of us believe and live by what we have been taught. Could that be wrong? Are there better ways or other options? To me health is a sparkle in the eye, red tongue, white eyes, good energy, sleep good, digest food, no pain, no phlegm, fingernails and skin a rosy colour (this is oxygen level), no headaches, sweet breath and having mobility in all areas.
FOOD Is a strawberry a strawberry or a tomato a tomato? NO! Do you think the food value of organic or certified organic produce is any better from conventionally grown produce? For the price we pay it should be! I am going to share with you what I have learned on my life’s journey and why my husband and I have gone back to the soil for our health. If you keep reading you will then understand about QUALITY FOOD and that there IS a difference! There is a direct effect in the QUALITY of Food you eat to the QUALITY of your Health.
NUTRIENT DENSE QUALITY FOOD refers to food that has all the materials your body requires to rebuild and maintain health.
FOOD is the fuel for the human body(unprocessed real plant food grown in soil). How do you think your car would perform if you used carrot juice, Pepsi or liquid manure? How come we know what to put in our vehicles but not what to put in our own body for optimum efficiency? We are a living organism how can anything “dead” make us live? (cooked food or meat is dead food…the enzymes are no longer alive or active) When I mention food I do not mean soft drinks, pizza, cookie, pie, buns, microwaved, boxed, wieners, canned, fried, cooked, deli meat preserved with chemicals or salt. This kind of “food” takes a lot of energy to process and get on the right frequency before it can be eliminated. A real food is one that would fit into the Food Guide like fruit, nuts, seeds and vegetables. Would eating a wet paper towel build healthy new live cells? What people call food today is similar to the paper towel as to nutrients derived from ingesting it.
You may be familiar with the saying ”you are what you eat”. All living matter is made up of energy. It’s the energy we get off the food we eat that is important. I would like to add “you are also what you DON’T eat”. If you eat the same every day and that food is poor quality and deficient in minerals you are missing out on other necessary building blocks to maintain a healthy you. BALANCE is the key! Everyone has different needs. Each and every one of us has our own unique body chemistry. There is no one pill, herb, food or magic potion that will feed everyone the same. This is why we practice self health care. Prevention keeps us healthy. We are the best judge or doctor of what we react to, feel good on, or get “sick” on. I never did accept that sickness was a part of living. Food choices people make every day ensure they get sick. It’s very easy. You have to really work at being well and build up your immune system.
OUR KEY ORGAN is the LIVER It is responsible for all the other organs. Todays ”sickness” or so-called diseases are the end result of the LIVER not getting the minerals and food it needs to keep the rest of the body functioning. Disease is nothing more than mineral deficiency.
THE KEY MINERAL IS CALCIUM which should come from your food. The plant is the catalyst and picks up calcium from healthy balanced soil. There are different kinds of calcium. Some are more acid forming and some are neutral and others push your chemistry more alkaline. Again balance is the key. Dolomite is a natural from of calcium but can have a lead base from where mined. Dolomite is also joined with magnesium and magnesium can be a problem. Dolomite should NOT be used in the soil but is used extensively in all kinds of farming and gardening. Magnesium should be derived from all green vegetables. It comes from chlorophyll.
